Obituary for William C. Lonsberry
>From the Middletown Times Herald Newspaper, Ny, February 2, 1934
The funeral of William C. Lonsberry, janitor at Memorial Junior High School, who died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. R. Welling at Vails Gate, will be held Sunday at the Vails Gate Methodist church at 1:30 and interment will be in Wallkill cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Mr. Lonsberry was born at Beacon, January ninth, 1870, a son of Albert and Christina Cherry Lonsberry. He was a member of Grace Episcopal church and resided at 21 East Conklin Ave. He married Miss Susie Carter of Middletown, who died several years ago.
Surviving relatives, in addition to his daughter, are four brothers, Marcus and Harry of Beacon, Joseph of Middletown and Arthur of Greenfield, Mass., and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Lent of Platkill and Mrs. Bertha Helligson of Nebraska.
