  I am making an educated guess about Bonnie Ruth. I believe she is Thelma's sister and they married the brothers, Carl and Jens Nielsen. Both Thelma and Bonnie Ruth were born in West Virginia. In 1930 Carl and "Ruth" are living in Chicago, but Bonnie R. Nielsen and Carl live in California in the late 30s early 40s at the same address. Liz
